    VAST Trail

The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) offers snowmobile enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy well-groomed and maintained trails throughout the winter season.

This non-profit private group was founded almost 40 years ago and is one of the oldest snowmobiling organizations in the U.S. Statewide. With the snowmobile season typically running from December 1 through April 1, volunteers in the numerous clubs within VAST are responsible for holding events and gatherings every weekend during the winter for snowmobilers living in or visiting the area. In order to take full advantage of the VAST trails you must belong to VAST, obtain a trail pass (TMA), own a valid state registration and have insurance. If you don’t own a snowmobile, take a guided tour at The Hermitage in West Dover, Vermont or visit us for more information.

The Inn staff will gladly assist with arrangements.
